Stay Focused on The Solutions You Provided First and Expand on That Strength

Your first business model breakthrough should become the focus for your second and third breakthroughs. Otherwise, you may face disaster. This article explains why.

Almost all business people work hard over long hours and are dedicated to their work. Yet some achieve great benefits from their efforts while others are simply holding the line. What are the lessons of this differential success for those who are working on business model innovation?

Let’s start with an analogy. Have you ever watched water break through an earthen dam? At first, the water simply washes against the whole side of the dam. Gradually, the speed of the water and the uneven composition of the earth in the dam cause erosion to begin.

You search endlessly for the right “answer” to building your business, making more money. Tracking Sales Leads: To Automate Or Not To Automate

It is no secret that generating sales leads is an integral part of any business, but is tracking sales leads of equal importance?

Company profits can substantially grow with the aid of a dynamic sales team. Closing sales takes hardwork. It is about yields-the more leads the more sales to close.

Before the internet era, sales personnel had to carefully and individually file this information on business sales leads. Most leads were confined to only one person and sharing them with others is often not done. Contacts were placed in notebooks, planners, address books or even index cards which they carry around. With this old set up, tracking sales leads from multiple sources can pose a huge task.

Are Finance Sector Chief Executives Guilty of Hubris and Greed?

One year on and the sub-prime fiasco in the finance markets has led to a sequence of knock on effects. John Moulton, on BBC Radio 4, has observed that those top executives who caused the problem are still mostly in post and collecting huge salaries whilst ‘waiting for something to turn up’. Isn’t it about time they made way for executives who will ethically build company worth through excellent Customer Engagement?

Honest disagreement

One of the things that I really enjoy as a commentator on business is the opportunity that it provides to listen carefully to an obviously clever and successful individual and then, hopefully with a degree of surgical precision, destroy every argument that they have put forward.

Flipping Luxurious Homes

Prime examples of this are the people who aim their sites only on the most opulent of neighborhoods. Areas that offer such a high standard of living attract home buyers looking for the best of the best and those who are willing to pay for it.  For this reason alone it is easy to understand why some people look only to luxury homes for profits.

Why Ltl Freight Makes Sense

On time delivery to your customers is an important part of your business and if you are one of those vendors that do not usually have big bulks of goods to be delivered at any one time to a particular customer, you may, from time to time, face difficulty in locating a suitable transporter whenever you need one. That is why LTL freight is the way to go - it is cost saving and you can be assured that your goods will arrive at the doorstep of your customer’s place on time. LTL is an acronym that stands for Less Than Load. LTL freight means that the cargo that is being shipped does not require an entire truckload by itself - you only pay for the space that you use, so you do not have to worry about having to pay a truckload’s charges for sending out cargos that uses less than a truckload’s space. LTL shipments are commonly between 100lbs and 20,000lbs.
