Take The Stress Out Of Your Hair
It is a complete nightmare to wake up and fix your hair for 20 minutes and still have the same hair style that you started with. I have a few tips that have worked for me and many of my customers over the years. Hopefully these will help you take that stress out of your hair and walk out of your house feeling like a million dollars! These tips are for Long-Curly, Short, and Straight hair. Let me know how these work for you. If your questions did not get answered please let me know. I will do my best to help your hair less stressful to your day by day routine!
Short:
- 1.) Blow dry your hair with a small amount of mousse. Use a round brush, start at the bottom section and work up using up and then over motions.
2.) Products with “Seed Oil” can do wonders to your frizzes!
3.) Simple is better. Try a little wax after blow drying. Take small pieces and piece the hairs around your face!
4.) Use low heat, and towel dry your hair really well after you get out of the shower.
5.) Buy bobby pins, you can do so many styles with them. Take a small section of hair in the front, then bring it back and pin on both sides.
Long-Curly:
- 1.) If you do not have a diffuser it is a really good idea to get one. It is an attachment that usually comes with the blow dryer. It helps dry your curls softly with less frizz.
2.) Comb your hair as opposed to brushing, brushing only causes more frizz. Use a large tooth comb.
3.) When you are styling with product, use a small amount of mousse, and start at the ends to avoid build up.
4.) Hair bands work great with long-curly hair. A fat ribbon is great when you can not find a ponytail holder.
5.) Consider a leave-in-conditioner after shampooing and conditioning. It will help you get that comb through your curls!
Straight:
- 1.) A root pump(product that you use on the roots of your hair before blow drying, when wet), is a great start for straight limp hair.
2.) Blow dry your hair upside down, more volume!
3.) Learn how to twist your hair in small places in the back of your head, pin with bobby pins, and see what you get.
4.) Curl single pieces using lightly a strong hair spray. Curl hairs all over. Wax on the ends helps it stay together.
5.) Try a tight low ponytail, or a half up half down look!
Hopefully some of these tips helped your life to be less stressful. That is my goal, to make styling your hair fun, easy, and less complicated. Have a great day styling with no stress!
