3 Keys To Make More Money With Search Engine Marketing
Productive search engine marketing involves knowing your business, knowing your potential customers, and knowing how the internet works. Here are 3 keys to help you understand all three and how they relate to each other.
Key 1: Know Your Business
There are words and concepts that surround your business and its everyday operation. These words, along with words your clients use, will become part of the vocabulary of your website. Make sure you know these words and not just their acronyms; people don’t usually enter acronyms in search engine.
Key 2: Know Your Customer
People will generally search for a certain term of set of terms when looking for your business. You need to know these terms for productive search engine marketing. You will be using those along with your business terms when you write your content for the website. Most of the time these terms are the same ones you use in your everyday business language.
Key 3: Know the Internet
The reason you need the above-mentioned keywords for productive search engine marketing is because the search engines will give your potential clients results pages based on finding those terms on websites. If you have a healthy percentage of those keywords and key phrases–between two percent and four percent of the words–you stand a good chance of getting higher rankings on the search results.
Three keys, knowing your business, knowing your customer, and knowing the Internet, will help you to increase your income with search engine marketing.
With search engine marketing, one of the most important things you can do is test and track. You need to know which sources and keywords are making you your money.
