Big Fat Dieting Lies And The Diet Companies

Wow, that’s pretty strong talk, isn’t it? Dieting is a lie? What do I mean? Well first of all, the word diet is derived from a Latin word that means “lifestyle.” A lifestyle is something you do for life. You may stifle your cravings and manage to lose weight, but if you keep craving food eventually, your powerful subconscious, where the craving is hiding out, will win. That is the cause of “yo-yo” dieting. If you don’t change your lifestyle, that is, the way you feel about food and eating, you are just doing something temporary and that will only have temporary results. You may lose weight, but it will come back with a little more, or maybe even a lot more. Why bother?
